Description
The Springfield Model 1863 was a rifled musket used by Union forces during the American Civil War. It was a standard infantry weapon and saw widespread use throughout the conflict.
The Model 1863 was an improved version of the earlier Model 1861, featuring a simpler and more robust design. It had a .58 caliber rifled barrel and used the percussion cap ignition system. The musket was around 56 inches long and weighed approximately 9 pounds.
This rifle is in amazing condition to include bayonet!
