Military Firearms

JMS Tactical sells and re-arsenals military firearms. Our specialty is M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, 1917 Eddystone, 1903, and 1903A3 rifles. All firearms in this category are safety tested, but should also be considered vintage firearms. You should not use “hot” production ammo in old military firearms. We also sell mil-surp ammo as we are able to locate it.

M1 Garand

The M1 Garand is a .30 caliber semi-automatic rifle that was the standard U.S. service rifle during World War II and the Korean War and also saw limited service during the Vietnam War. To this day, the M1 Garand is considered the finest battle rifle ever made. They are reliable and rugged.

M1 Carbine

The M1 carbine is a lightweight, easy to use, .30 caliber semi-automatic carbine that was a standard firearm for the U.S. military during World War II, the Korean War and well into the Vietnam War. The M1 Carbine was designed to be a rear echelon weapon, similar in operation to the M1 Garand, but not the same weapon at all.

M1903 and M1903A3

The M1903 / 1903A3 Springfield, formally the United States Rifle, Caliber .30-06, Model 1903, is an American five-round magazine fed, bolt-action service repeating rifle, used primarily during the first half of the 20th century.

It was officially adopted as a United States military bolt-action rifle on June 19, 1903, and saw service in World War I. It was officially replaced as the standard infantry rifle by the faster-firing semi-automatic eight-round M1 Garand starting in 1936. However, the M1903 Springfield remained in service as a standard issue infantry rifle during World War II, since the U.S. entered the war without sufficient M1 rifles to arm all troops. It also remained in service as a sniper rifle during World War II, the Korean War, and even in the early stages of the Vietnam War. It remains popular as a civilian firearm, historical collector’s piece, and as a military drill rifle.

1917 Eddystone

The M1917 Enfield, the “American Enfield”, formally named “United States Rifle, cal .30, Model of 1917” was an American modification and production of the .303-inch (7.7 mm) Pattern 1914 Enfield (P14) rifle (listed in British Service as Rifle No. 3) developed and manufactured during the period 1917–1918. Numerically, it was the main rifle used by the American Expeditionary Forces in Europe during World War I. The Danish Slædepatruljen Sirius still use the M1917, which performs reliably in Arctic conditions, as their service weapon.
